Prof. Rogerio Garbin - 2nd Degree Black belt
In 1994 Prof Rogerio heard about BJJ through friends who surfed together and invited him to start the ‘soft art’. In 1996 met Prof. Jorge Pereira who became a friend, brother and master all the way from white to black belt.
During this period the student instructor relationship became a strong friendship and more than this a life philosophy of honor, loyalty and family.
Rogerio received his Black belt from Jorge in 2004 and together they organized and promoted RIO HEROES Vale-Tudo events in 2008.

1998 – Sao Paulo State Champion and 2 x Runner Up – Blue Belt
1999 – FESP Championship Runner Up - Purple Belt
2000 – FESP Championship Bronze Medal – Brown Belt
After some years competing Prof. Rogerio Garbin chose to dedicate his time and knowledge to teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to people who find in this Martial Art a way of life.
Currently Prof. Rogerio teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and functional training in his own gym in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is one of the few Brazilian professionals specializing in Kettlebell training. He also conducts BJJ seminars around the world with the aim to spread BJJ philosophy to people from all cultures.
