ROOTS fighters did great this weekend winning their bouts in 2 amazing performances.
Friday July 30th - Marcelo Altieri won his debut boxing fight in the Heavyweight division at Fight Gym Fight Night in the city with a stunning knockout over his opponent at 10 secs in the 1st round.
Saturday July 31st - Dave Solomovic or “Big D” also known by us as “Softy” won his debut MMA fight at Extreme MMA at Olympic Park Sports Centre in Homebush. Dave fought in the Super-Heavyweight division against an opponent more experienced with a previous MMA record of 2 wins and 1 loss. Victory by points after 3 x 5 min rounds where Dave dominated the standing and ground game in the cage.
