"I started training BJJ in Townsville in 2000, and
first met Paulo at a seminar around 2003, this encouraged me and inspired me,
when Eric Lemoine started the Roots centre here I reunited with Paulo and have
found a place that really promotes the philosopys of Loyalty, Respect, Honour
and Family.
Having spent many years working in clubs and
pubs has given me a realistic understanding of how to use force in todays
environment, and more importantly how to use what we train in real world
applications, this has been evident with Paulo giving seminars for 2RAR here in
Townsville, and the amount of Defense, Police etc that are part of our
family".
