JIU-JITSU KIDS! (6yrs+)
If your child is over 6 years old and has an interest in learning a martial art and wants to keep fit and have fun doing it, why not try a BJJ class especially tailored for children?
Confidence: Kids training in BJJ learn how to defend themselves in various situations, and develop confidence. Confidence is one of the main deterrents to bullying.
Fitness: The class includes conditioning, stretching and strength exercises.
Self-Esteem: Our classes encourage respect for others and building self-esteem through achievement. Many have already become state champions!
Self-Defense: Although most students of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu do it for the sport, kids learn valuable self-defense skills as well, without the aggressive striking element that exists in most martial arts.
Coordination: Kids will learn grappling techniques and movements that will develop their co-ordination.

"In only 3 months my 7 yr old son has become absolutely obsessed with BJJ through the caring, technical and disciplined training they receive through Ben and Graeme. At training, he behaves, listens and takes everything in like a sponge with a massive smile for the entire lesson. Then he comes home and “becomes Ben” as he walks his younger brother and sister through what he’s just learnt. As soon as he arrives home from training, my two year old daughter asks every week “now I can do jiu-jitsu?” It’s amazing to watch the kids “fight” on a daily basis without any hint of wanting to hurt each other." -Darren Stein (Jordyns Dad)
